6 Day Drive-In, Drive-Out Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire Safari

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife. Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and a variety of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, depart Tarangire and continue toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast Serengeti plains. As you enter the park, begin your game drive en route to your accommodation. Keep watch for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffalo and predators.

Depending on the season, you may also encounter areas where the Great Wildebeest Migration is taking place. Continue with your game drive before arriving at your camp or lodge in the evening.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti. Spend the day exploring the park with your experienced safari guide. The Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Your guide will select the best areas to explore according to current wildlife activity and seasonal conditions. If your visit coincides with the Great Migration, you may encounter large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

This is your main wildlife day, allowing plenty of time to explore the plains and search for the Serengeti's famous predators and large herds. Your experienced safari guide will select the best areas to explore based on recent wildlife activity and seasonal conditions. Depending on the time of year, you may follow areas where the migrating wildebeest and zebras are concentrated.

The Serengeti also offers excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos and numerous bird species. After Lunch, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and supports an exceptional concentration of animals. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater safari before ascending the crater walls. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue by road toward Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, where your luxury safari comes to an end. You will be transferred to your hotel, onward destination, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your travel arrangements.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Explore the crater floor, where an exceptional concentration of wildlife can be found. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater safari before ascending the crater walls.

After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, begin the drive back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or evening, where your 6-Day Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Tarangire Drive-In Drive-Out Safari comes to an end.
