Continue through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania, with opportunities to observe wildlife along the way. As you leave the Serengeti, the scenery gradually changes as you approach the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your luxury accommodation near the crater rim in the afternoon. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying the spectacular surroundings.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and supports an extraordinary concentration of animals. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater safari before ascending from the crater. After the crater experience, continue toward the airport for your onward flight. Depending on your flight arrangements, connect via Arusha or Kilimanjaro for your return flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
