4 Day Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Drive-In Drive-Out Safari

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife. Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and lions.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your safari. Later, depart Tarangire and drive toward the Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you enter the Serengeti, begin an en-route game drive toward your accommodation. Keep watch for wildlife along the way. Arrive at your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains and wildlife-rich habitats of the park. Your experienced safari guide will select the best areas based on current wildlife activity and seasonal conditions.

Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous bird species. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to encounter the Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti. Continue exploring the park as you gradually make your way toward the exit. This provides another opportunity to encounter wildlife before leaving the Serengeti. Depart toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, traveling through beautiful landscapes and, where possible, enjoying wildlife viewing along the route.

Arrive at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands or Karatu in the afternoon. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying the surrounding scenery. Early dinner and overnight in preparation for your final-day crater safari.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and is home to an exceptional concentration of animals. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater safari before ascending the crater walls. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, begin your drive back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your 4-Day Serengeti, Tarangire & Ngorongoro Drive-In Drive-Out Safari.
