7 Day Explore Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi Cultural Safari

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred privately to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel and prepare for your safari adventure.
Your safari guide will provide a briefing about the journey, including the wildlife and cultural experiences planned for the coming days. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Arusha.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and diverse wildlife.

Explore the park in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and continue toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and culturally fascinating area south of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Today is dedicated to cultural exploration and learning about traditional communities living around the lake. Visit a Hadza community and learn about their traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle, relationship with the environment, and cultural traditions. Depending on the community and arrangements, you may also meet members of the Datoga community and learn about their traditional crafts, livestock keeping and way of life.

The experience is guided by local community members and is intended to provide respectful cultural interaction and insight into local traditions. Enjoy lunch during the day's activities before returning toward Karatu in the afternoon. Relax at your lodge in the evening and enjoy dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.
The route takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the vast plains of the Serengeti. As you enter the park, begin your wildlife experience with a game drive en route to your luxury camp.

The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to experience the Great Wildebeest Migration. Continue your game drive before arriving at your camp in the evening.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Explore the endless plains with your experienced safari guide, searching for the park's iconic wildlife. Depending on the season, your guide will monitor wildlife movements and may focus on areas where migrating wildebeest and zebras are concentrated.

The Serengeti also offers excellent opportunities to see resident predators and other wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Return to your luxury camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania, with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way. Arrive at your luxury lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands in the afternoon.

Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying the spectacular surroundings. Prepare for an early start the following morning for your final crater safari.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater safari before ascending the crater walls. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue toward Arusha.
